Profile

As founder and CEO of HMC Global, John has been involved in international sales for over 30 years, providing advice and operational support to economic development agencies across the globe. With offices in Europe, the US and Asia, the HMC team consisted of over 25 professional sales staff and helped clients to secure major strategic investments from organisations such as CITI, Microsoft, Baker Mckenzie, Visa and TSMC, creating over 11,000 jobs and investment in excess of US$4 billion.

John has worked with a range of manufacturing companies to develop their export sales, providing advice and in-market support to deliver successful trade missions and buyer engagements. In addition, working as an interim CEO, John has led several Northern Ireland SME’s to successful trade sales.
